Nope! We have four different packages to choose from. Everything thing from hiring us just virtually, to having us there behind the scenes – making sure you and your bridesmaids have everything they need (we carry extension chords, super glue, and Band Aids on us at all times), to hiring us to actually stand up there with you at the altar. That’s up to you! Either way, we’re happy to help with whatever you need before or on the day of your wedding.

After standing beside so many brides throughout their wedding planning process over the past couple of years, I witnessed firsthand the stress that brides experience and decided that there was a need in the bridal industry that wasn’t being fulfilled yet. Simply put, there was no one there whose job it was to focus entirely on the bride.
That’s why I decided to write the Craigslist ad offering my services as a professional bridesmaid and after I received an overwhelming response, I decided to turn it into a business.

[collapse title=”I’ve been a bridesmaid more times than I can count, so what makes you so qualified to start this business?”]
Not only have I spent years working with brides-to-be at various stages of their wedding planning process, but I have experience working with groups of women who I’ve never met before! Sounds strange, doesn’t it? Well, in 2010 I worked as a consultant for a national sorority. I spent a year living out of a suitcase, traveling to a new university every week and working with women I had never met before in order to repair difficult situations they were facing, work out challenges that were stacked up on their to-do lists, and flatten out complicated group dynamics that were making it hard for them to get along and work together – similar to the kinds of things brides and her wedding party face over time.

Wedding planners have quite the job of their own, focusing on preparing for the big day and making sure the vendors arrive on time and the venue is set up exactly as the bride imagined. I’m there to work specifically with the bride and her needs – whether it’s shopping for a wedding dress, organizing RSVPs, coordinating the bridal shower or bachelorette party, helping with a registry for gifts, etc. Plus, if I’m there on the big day, my number one goal is to make sure the bride and her wedding party are stress free – and that their to-do list becomes my own personal responsibility.

After posting the Craigslist ad, I had hundreds of people reach out – brides-to-be, current bridesmaids, grooms, and even mother of the brides! I’ve worked with over 50 brides, maid-of-honors, and bridesmaids over the past two years. You can read about some of the adventures here.

We offer several different packages that depend on the bride’s budget, location and what she’s looking to accomplish. We have everything from a “Virtual Bridesmaid” package that includes 1:1 sessions to help the bride organize her to-do list and set a plan of action for her bridal party (including event itineraries and how to work with the group’s budget) to “Bridesmaid By My Side” package, that includes having a Professional Bridesmaid be there with you on your wedding day. Our services range from $199 to over $1,000. We have a package – and a price – for every bride-in-need.
