The party is over and now it’s time for some rest and relaxation with the love of your entire life. Hopefully you’ve stuck a few Band-Aids on those post-wedding dance floor blisters and popped a couple of Advil’s from the late-night out headaches that are probably still clinging on to you. So as you board the plane to take off for your first post-wedding adventure, be sure to bring along some essentials. Here are six things we recommend you pack with you in your carryon bag.
If you’re taking a long flight across the ocean, use some of the time aboard to write your thank you cards. Pack the cards and a list of names and get them done before you land.
Ask your photographer to send over some proofs of photos from the wedding. Take the flight to reminisce about the best moments of the wedding and take a look through the photos of all of your guests and family members.
If you want to write your vendors a thank you letter or an online review, you can use the plane ride to check this off your to-do list!
Use the time to relax and take a much deserved and well-needed snooze.
You may need an extra pack of Advil or even a hair tie or two. Pack the survival kit that’s left over from your wedding in your carry on bag. Be sure to leave any liquids or sharp objects (like a razor) at home and take what’s left.
Your post-wedding appetite will pick up. Pack along as many snacks as you can stuff into your bag. A mixture of healthy and sweet tooth satisfying snacks will help you coast during your travels.
