If you’re a believer that a gift card or cash isn’t the most personal way to give someone a gift, then you may decide that showing up at a wedding with a card and a check isn’t something you feel comfortable doing. Most couples look forward to receiving cash from their guests on their wedding day, but it doesn’t mean you have to bring that as your gift. If you’re looking for alternatives or out of the box gifts to give, we have you covered with a list of four wedding gifts that are cold hard cash.
Usually guests will buy the couple gifts off their registry for the wedding shower, but if there’s anything that hasn’t been purchased off their list yet, feel free to go on their and get it for them. Instead of lugging it with you to the wedding, have the online store ship it directly to their house. That way they wont have to pack it up with them and carry it home after the wedding.
If you know the couple well or want to get creative, you can order them something personal and crafty off of a place like Etsy. Whether it’s matching towels with their initials or customized glasses, this is a way to give a personal touch to the gift you give them on their wedding day.
Take the crafty to an extra level and make the couple something yourself. This is recommend if you know the couple very well. If not, stick with something more simple and practical that you know they can use.
If you know where they are off to for their honeymoon, get them a gift that they can take with them. Maybe it’s new luggage or a toilette bag. Perhaps it’s tickets to a show in the location they are going to or something to make their plane ride a little bit more comfortable.
