Being bloated is an uncomfortable feeling that affects both your body and your mind. You may find yourself feeling uncomfortable and even feeling like you have to squeeze into a wedding dress that should fit you flawlessly. 1. Onions
While you may be already planning on avoid onions altogether because you don’t want smelly breath, you may want to avoid them because of the trouble they can cause internally. Onions are cause increased water absorption in your liver and can be a pain to digest.
2. Watermelon
While watermelon is often listed as a fruit to munch on because it is filled with so much water that you will stay hydrated throughout the day, watermelon is also filled with high levels of fructose, which may be hard for some people to digest. If you can’t digest watermelon well, you may find yourself with gas and bloating.
3. Yogurt
If you want to eat yogurt on your wedding day, stick to eating plain Greek yogurt only. Eating other types of yogurt may be trouble, since some types (like low-fat and non-fat) may contain varying levels of sugar molecular lactose, which can cause your belly to feel unbalanced and bloated.
4. Artificial Sweeteners
Put the soda, gum and gummy bears down. Food that contain artificial sweetener often contain sweeteners that are absorbed very slowly in the small intestine and can leave you with an upset stomach and a lot of bloating.
