After the plane touches down in your city and your honeymoon has officially come to an end, you may start to wonder what’s next? Your wedding to-do list may have a few more tasks on it and your apartment may be overwhelmed with wedding gifts and supplies that you’ll need to find a place to store. To help you stay sane and stress-free post-honeymoon, here are 6 things to do right after you return home.
Do an inventory on all your gifts and make piles of things you want to keep and things you want to return to the store. Also jot down who bought you what so that you can stay organized when writing your thank you cards.
Flip through your wedding photos and star the ones you adore the most. Even If you decided not to make a wedding album, picking a handful of your favorite photos now will make it easier when you want to print some to hang in your home or use for thank you cards.
Get started on your thank you cards. Sending those out a month or two after your wedding is usually the best practice and a giant item that you’ll be able to cross off your to-do list.
Send them a personal thank you email or write a review for them on their website or a wedding website that they prefer to use.
Brides-to-Be will be turning to you for wedding advice. Keep some notes on things you think you did well and things you wish you didn’t worry so much about before your wedding.
Even if your honeymoon was the most relaxing week of your life, you should still schedule some chill time for when you’re back before jumping into reality.
Read the weekly newsletter from Bridesmaid for Hire, 1-800-Bridesmaid, to hear about real stories, from strangers, who need advice on love, life, friendship, and so much more.
