With all the running around you do as a bridesmaid, you’re always wondering when your next meal will happen during the bachelorette party or even on the morning of the wedding. Rookie tip: pack snacks!

 

2. I hope I don’t trip and fall

One foot after another, you chat over and over in your head as you prance down the aisle. You’re more worried about falling than a Victoria Secret model is when she’s strutting her stuff down the runway.

 

3. I hope there are hot groomsmen

A perpetually single, “always a bridesmaid” girl can only dream.

 

4. Where’s the bar?

Just try, really hard, not to act on this thought until cocktail hour finally swings into motion.

 

5. Can I request a song?

When you’re ready to get the party started and break it down on the dance floor, you may have a sudden urge to switch up the Frank Sinatra that they are playing with a little Ke$ha.

 

6. Do I have to dance with the drunk uncle?

The answer to this is no, it is always no.

When you accept your duties as a bridesmaid, you may want to check with your savings account first to see if it has any strong opinion on the matter.

 

11. Can I say no?

Remember that you can! Even when your mind is questioning whether or not you should fly across the country and spend $1,000 on one night of a bachelorette party, remember that no is definitely an option.
