If you’re planning to go during a certain month in the next year or so, look up past weather trends for that month. Try to avoid going during that location’s rainy season or heavy winter.
Perhaps you’re getting a good deal on airfare and hotel, but it’s important to double check how much local restaurants, activities and even transportation will cost you. Sometimes those costs are more than you expected or pre-planned for.
