2. You Can’t See Each Other Before the Wedding

The superstition that you couldn’t see your fiancé before the wedding is a tradition that’s been benched for a while. More and more couples are doing pre-ceremony first-looks. If you want to take photos before the wedding begins, consider a pre-ceremony first-look so that you can get those pictures out of the way and dance right into the wedding after you say I DO.

 

3. The Gender of Your Bridesmaids and Groomsmen

It used to be that women were bridesmaids and men were groomsmen, but now that no longer has to matter. You can mix it up and have both genders in both rules!

 

4. You Should Register for Fine China and Kitchen Appliances

If you already have enough kitchen appliances to last you a lifetime, register for things that are more outside of the box – literally. You can register for your honeymoon, a house fund, or even other items that you want as gifts from your guests.
